"Today" is in the center. Time wraps counterclockwise in a spiral, inspired by Nat's games with O'reilly sales data. Each weekday label shows which days are on that spoke, so you can immediately zero in on a weekend. The future is further from the center.

As in real life, LA is a mixed bag. There is less weekend clumping going on: event are listed for every day of the week, with quite a lot happening on Thursdays and Sundays. One event at the BGH Gallery is over a month long, so it gets a long spiral covering all of June.

• SF Bay Area
  Shows the heavy weekend slant in this metro - Sat/Sun are well-populated, other days are not.
• San Francisco
  Problematic. There is an event in this metro that spans 6 months, so it's a rendering nightmare.
• Los Angeles
  Lots of one-day events, spread out all over the week.
